Start working today and earn your certification at the same time with our Learn and Earn program. You’ll get all the training you need to become a state-certified CNA right in our home - and you’ll be working as a unit helper and a member of our staff while you do it.

If English isn’t your first language, don’t worry - we can also offer an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring component.

What to Expect When You Apply

At Maine Veterans’ Homes, our application process might take a little longer than you’re used to, but it’s worth the wait.

When you submit an application, our team will review and contact you via email or phone within a few days to schedule an interview if you’re a good fit.

Depending on your role, we might request one or two interviews so we can learn about you and you can get a taste of Maine Veterans’ Homes.

After the interviews, we’ll be in touch shortly to let you know what we decided - and to offer you the job if we’re a good match for each other.

Once you’re here, you’ll receive an extensive orientation and get support from your coworkers so you’re set up for success.
